Role
Who you are
- 5+ years of professional experience in CMS (preferably Webflow) development
- Portfolio demonstrates complex CMS(Webflow) structures, advanced interactions, and high-performance sites
- Expertise in Front-end languages (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) to manipulate DOM and extend functionality
- CDN – experience with Cloudflare or CloudFront or similar
- Strong SEO/AEO experience—knowledge of how site architecture impacts crawling, indexing, and AI citations
- Figma Fluency: Ability to move between design tools and live builds seamlessly
- CRO Mindset: Experience building for conversion (A/B testing, user journey mapping)
- Technical Acumen: Strong ability to partner with engineering on system architecture, API integrations, and data flows. SQL familiarity or comfort working with data analysts to define KPIs and pull insights
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Demonstrated effectiveness working in a matrixed global environment with engineering, design, operations, and senior leadership stakeholders
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical discipline from a recognized institution — required
- Certifications in AWS/MS/Google Solutions Architect

- Tekion is hiring a Website Architect/PM role for Tekion.com to define technical strategy, ensuring system scalability, and mentoring development teams to deliver high-quality, secure digital solutions. This role will bridge technical execution with business goals, overseeing delivery to optimize performance and user experience
- We are seeking a highly technical, strategic, and creative Web Architect/PM to own our Tekion.com digital web presence
- As the Website Architect/PM, you will not just execute, but design the structure of our CMS, ensure pixel-perfect implementation from designs, coordinate as PM with multiple teams, and drive growth through high-performing SEO/AEO-optimized pages
- You will push CMS beyond its default capabilities to build a scalable, fast, and AI-forward digital ecosystem
- Working from Tekion's US Headquarters, you will partner closely with US and India-based teams and cross-functional teams in Marketing, Engineering, and Operations
- Website Architecture & Development & PM
- Architect Complex Sites: Structure CMS collections, reference fields, and dynamic content models for maximum scalability
- Lead Delivery and PM: Build responsive, pixel-perfect, and accessible web experiences from design mockups, coordinate with cross teams as PM for delivery, using clean client-first or custom naming conventions
- Extend Functionality: Implement custom code (HTML/CSS/JS) to add advanced interactions, filtering, or functionality
- Integrations: Connect CMS to the tech stack (Marketing Automation and AI tools)
- SEO, AEO, and Performance Optimization
- AEO & AI Search: Structure content to be indexed and cited by AI answer engines and structured LLM searches
- Technical SEO: Optimize site architecture, schema markup, meta tags, and internal linking to enhance search engine ranking
- Performance First: Maximize Core Web Vitals (LCP, TTI) through manual image optimization, lazy-loading, and script management
- Leadership & Collaboration
- Project Leadership: Own projects from conception to launch, managing workflows and documentation
- Team Collaboration: Partner with Marketing, Sales, and Design teams to create high-converting landing pages and iterative experiments
- Mentorship: Provide best-practice guidance to internal teams on CMS usage and capabilities

Car dealerships suffer from an inefficiency problem. The paperwork and administration required to complete a sale requires dealers to manage a disjointed set of various software applications. Tekion is offering an enticing remedy - a cloud-based automotive retail system that integrates the various software applications in a single infrastructure.
Competition has been strong, with rivals CDK Global and Reynolds & Reynolds offering a competitive raft of features, and benefiting from strong prior relationships with dealerships. Tekion, however, has nevertheless secured customers for the software in 28 states - likely in part due to the efficiency of partnering with a single growing service as opposed to a disparate spread.
This momentum shows no signs of slowing either, as Tekion has attracted attention from major players like CMC, Chrysler and Chevrolet. By streamlining dealership operations into a single platform, the company is proving that even in a crowded market, innovation and simplicity can win. Its recent release of AI agents and an AI interface also shows it is moving with the times.
