Who you are
- Has 6+ years of experience interfacing with major benefits consulting firms, and specific experience working with/for Mercer and Marsh & McLennan Agency (MMA)
- Strong sales and prospecting prowess. This role requires creating new and perpetuating existing relationships in order to generate sales opportunities
- Demonstrated experience in rapport building, business development and pipeline generation
- Excellent presentation skills
- Is a hard working, self-motivated person with an itch to be a part of an emerging AI med-tech startup
- Is intellectually curious with sophisticated communication skills
- Has demonstrated the ability to learn complex enterprise software solutions and use that knowledge to sell to prospects
- Has experience with Salesforce or similar CRM
- Experience with AI-driven healthcare solutions
- Background in managing global alliances
What the job involves
- In this high-impact role, you'll take charge of managing and enhancing our relationships within the consulting and brokerage community
- Collaborating closely with Partnerships and Sales leadership and internal departments, you'll ensure our strategic priorities align with market influencer insights while maintaining a strong and consistent messaging strategy
- Your expertise will also play a crucial role in educating industry consultants on our cutting-edge digital MSK therapy solutions, utilizing various communication channels
- Drives Sword’s relationships with key contacts in the Mercer brokerage community to ensure a strong preference and comprehensive understanding about our solutions and capability
- Collaborates with key groups at Sword (product, marketing, sales, account management) to ensure our priorities are informed by needs and priorities expressed by market influencers
- Partners closely with Sales and Customer Success to ensure consistency of message across various touch-points and assist RVPs in sourcing early stage opportunities associated with owned accounts
- Educates Mercer consultants on our digital MSK therapy solution through response to leads, direct outbound contact, social media, face-to-face/web demonstrations, lunch & learns, and email campaigns
- Document, map, and cultivate key contacts and offices within Mercer
- Articulate Sword differentiators and value prop in general, and when appropriate, on employer-specific opportunities
- Maximize the value of Sword participation in various Mercer-specific vendor management initiatives
- Facilitate periodic top-to-top meetings to discuss trends, successes, and opportunities to grow together with Mercer
- Facilitate annual cycle of meetings to further relationships and build understanding of Sword solutions and capabilities
- Coordinate Sword participation in events sponsored by Mercer which further our mutual business opportunities
- Build pipeline of qualified opportunities for designated markets
- Provide regular, accurate forecasts and update lead status using Salesforce.com
- Manage our Salesforce.com database for Mercer

This results in millions of people not receiving the full breadth of care they need to reach full recovery. And physical therapy practices are missing out on a massive amount of revenue potential.
