Who you are
- The ideal candidate has an intimate knowledge of K12 schools and districts with a significant focus of selling district-wide solutions
- You are a process-driven sales leader with a proven track record of exceeding revenue targets. With a solutions-oriented mindset and a passion for transforming education, you thrive in a dynamic, growth-focused environment
- 5-8 years of applicable sales/partnership experience within K12 schools and districts
- A record of past achievement, including the ability to spearhead conversations, deals, strategic initiatives, and manage senior-level/executive external stakeholders
- Excellent written and verbal communication and negotiation skills
- Strong interpersonal skills balanced with creative problem-solving abilities
- Excellent time management skills
- Strong ability to manage a portfolio of opportunities through a sales process, with a timely close and accurate forecast
- Demonstrated competence in excelling within a fluid and innovative entrepreneurial atmosphere
- Ability to orchestrate the closure of business with an accurate understanding of prospect needs
- Ability to thrive in a fast paced and changing environment while maintaining the necessary sales acumen that drives growth and transparency across Study.com
Desirable
- Experience in Test Prep and K12 Curriculum sales

What the job involves
- We are seeking a highly strategic and results-driven sales professional to join our team as a trusted advisor to customers and prospects within the K-12 vertical
- In this role, you will play a critical part in helping K-12 institutions integrate Study.com’s solutions across the full spectrum of their educational initiatives, driving meaningful impact for educators and students alike

- You will be entering a mature territory with large national district and enterprise clients ripe for growth
- Aggressively hunt new business opportunities and drive to a timely close. Candidate will inherit a warm, active pipeline of over $1M in prospect opportunities
- Drive customer retention and renewal growth from a market portfolio of over $500K in existing K12 business, including several 6-figure annual contracts
- Use your knowledge of the Education sector to consult and support the prospective partners, with the goal of helping them educate their student populations
- Build relationships across all levels of schools and districts and use data-driven insights to support investment recommendations or overcome customer objections
- Be disciplined in Territory and Account Planning, Forecasting, and Quota Attainment
- Follow best practices when using CRM and other tools to manage the sales cycle
- Consistently meet and exceed assigned KPIs, including but not limited to lead generation and conversion, pipeline growth, time to close, close rate and revenue targets
- Act as the voice of Study.com's Partnerships organization, deliver our message, and drive home how valuable education is to learners and school districts
- Travel required:field visits per quarter and attendance at regional conferences as needed
Our take
E-learning resources have existed since the dawn of the web, with students watching videos, taking quizzes, and using other online tools to augment their education. However, such resources are often not endorsed by educational facilities and curriculums, and generally consist of fixed media resources.
Study.com provides an all-in-one platform for K12 and college studying, offering a variety of services for both students and teachers. Students can benefit from personalized homework help videos and test preparation tools which count toward college credit, whilst teachers and parents can access a one-on-one tuition marketplace, lesson planning tools, and homeschooling curriculums.
Whilst education facilities are beginning to integrate their curriculums into e-learning resources across the world, Study.com has recognized that students and teachers need a more unified solution for studying, covering everything from tutorials and lesson plans to private tuition. Through its platform, the company aims to improve the e-learning experience for K12 and college students, whilst simultaneously helping teachers to improve lessons and find new clients.
