Who you are

10+ years of Linux experience, including 7+ in a DevOps/SRE role
Expert in Linux administration and configuration management (Ansible preferred)
Extensive experience with self-hosted infrastructure (on-premise servers, bare metal)
Good working knowledge of major cloud providers (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, DigitalOcean)
Familiarity with enterprise hardware management (iDRAC, IPMI, RAID, firmware updates)
Proficient in virtualization & containerization (Docker, KVM, VMs)
Strong scripting & automation skills (Bash, Python)
Deep knowledge of CI/CD pipelines & deployment automation
Experience maintaining large-scale web projects (nginx, PHP, MySQL)
Expert-level Git skills & version control best practices
Strong knowledge of networking & security (firewall management, VPNs, IDS/IPS, TLS, access control)
Experience securing self-hosted environments (hardening, monitoring, compliance)
Strategic mindset with a track record of improving infrastructure reliability & efficiency
Excellent communication, mentoring
Familiarity with Agile methodologies, TDD, and infrastructure best practices
Experience with task tracking tools (e.g., Jira & Notion)
Based in Barcelona or willing to relocate
