Role
Who you are
- 2+ years of prior sales experience, within an Asset Finance or financial services environment essential
- Ability to work independently and proactively
- High degree of self-motivation and desire to drive success
- Demonstrate a commitment to achieving the highest standards
- Strong IT, customer service, organisation and time management skills
- Ability to create and maintain strong client relationships, communicate with clients and key stakeholders
- Good understanding of the products offered (asset finance) and the markets that Swoop target (desired but training is provided)
- Ability to negotiate effectively and influence decisions
- Understand the risks associated with your job and what that means for you, our customers, and our business
- A good understanding of SME lending, and analytical skills
What the job involves
- Develop business relationships with potential clients by offering our products via superior customer service
- Engage with various stakeholders, such as commercial equipment manufacturers, suppliers and vendors
- Present the company to potential clients, via phone, online, or in person where required
- Achieve productivity and sales budget KP’s set out by the Company
- Develop an understanding of customers requirements to offer a client focused service
- Maintain and manage a pipeline and ensure administration is completed on internal systems to aid the fair treatment of customers
- Create and be accountable for all client quotes and proposals, following finance procedures through the entire process
- Understand your client’s requirements and price transactions accordingly
- Assist the wider team in achieving outstanding customer service, deliver outcomes that are both customer centric and commercially viable to help the business achieve its goals
- At all times making sure our customers are treated fairly
- Perform your role with a positive and constructive attitude within the team environment
- Ensure all compliance regulation, legislation, FCA conduct rules and core responsibilities is adhered to where relevant
- Contributing to the culture and development of Swoop and always maintaining the reputation of the business

Following increased demand for SME financing, Swoop has recently secured funding which will be used to support its plans for international expansion, in particular the North American market, according to CEO Andrea Reynolds. The company forecasts its revenues to rise by 450 per cent this year and hopes its growth will facilitate this.
