Role
Who you are
- You will be happy working in a collaborative, have excellent attention to detail and great communication skills, working across both React Native and Next.js code bases
- At least 5 years professional experience in software development (ideally 2 years' consistent react native experience)
- Great communication skills, ability to discuss product and technical issues with ease
- Fluency with Javascript/Typescript and its ecosystem
- Experience with mobile React Native development, including detailed understanding of iOS & Android app release processes
- Focus on writing testable code
- Strong understanding of software design, caching, and RESTful APIs
- Familiarity with CodePush, React Query, Firebase, JSON:API is a plus
- Experience around Frontend DevOps, such as managing CI/CD across different frontend platforms, running and maintaining monorepos
- Curiosity and eagerness to learn
- Pragmatism, a strong will to get things done while working collaborative or independently
- To lead, mentor and collaborate on the React Native development, best practices and processes
- To contribute, collaborate and development with our Next.js web platform
What the job involves
- We are currently looking for a Senior Frontend Engineer/ React Native Engineer to lead and mentor on the React Native development and to help continue to develop our web platform built in Next.js
- Architect, design and develop new features on our React Native mobile app and Next.js platform
- Work closely with the product, design and engineering teams to plan and deliver on our product strategy
- Improve the quality of our codebase and developer experience
