Role
Who you are
- We are looking for an individual who is passionate about quality assurance
- Proven success with both automated and manual testing tools and technologies with 5-8 years’ experience in Manual testing
- Test experiences include planning, assessments, script development and maintenance
- Strong experience taking part in sprints planning, estimations, and retrospectives
- Experience in Quality Assurance principles, best practices, as well as developing test strategies, manual test plans and test cases
- Solid understanding of RESTful web services and microservice architecture
- Strong knowledge of Database and SQL queries for data validation
- Experience with working in an Agile environment and CI/CD driven testing culture
- Experience in Manual testing Web based applications, backend and API
- Strong in validation content from XML, JSON databases and flat files
- Strong API testing experience using Postman,or Rest API
- The technologies we are looking for include some of the following
- BDD/SpecFlow/Gherkin
- C#/Java
- Cucumber
- CircleCI
- TDD
- TestNG
- Experience with Atlassian products and integrations (Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket)
- Experience with Test Case Management tools (TestRail)
- Strong experience with payment device integration and transaction workflows, including Aurus, Adyen, and Tap to Pay solutions
- Familiarity with POS systems, payment gateways, and contactless payment technologies
What the job involves
- As a Senior quality assurance (QA) Analyst you will conduct requirement analysis, define test strategy & design manual test procedures
- You will be liaising with the Developers, Product Managers, and BA’s to identify and test key features of our products
- You will participate as part of a cross-functional Agile team and will advocate for and ensure quality for their team
- You will coordinate best quality practices across other teams including offshore
- You will lead and define transitions to embed quality practices within our new platform
- And most importantly, you will be designing and developing Manual Test Cases for all layers of the solution (front and back end)
- Develop manual test scripts and test scenarios to verify requirements according to the established standards and best practices
- Report , Assess and escalate issues based on severity
- Play a critical role in all releases by conducting regression and sanity testing
- Participate in the scrum process, including stands-ups and related activities
