What the job involves
- As part of our Sales Development team, you’ll be on the frontlines of building lasting customer relationships and showcasing the value of Revenue Cycle Management, EHR and our Ambient documentation product
- You’ll be an instrumental part of our revenue growth, guiding customers from first touch and beyond - making sure every client feels supported and successful
- You won’t just follow processes, you’ll own outcomes, solve tough business problems, and help shape how we scale
- Source and engage leads from industry conferences, attend events and drive follow-up to convert prospects into sales opportunities
- Make cold calls and qualify accounts while launching targeted outbound campaigns into high potential accounts
- Collaborate with the sales leadership to improve outbound motion that drive revenue growth
- Manage customer relationships and own the delivery of exceptional experiences for every customer
- Speak at a high level about our revenue cycle management platform to customers
- Breakdown hairy, challenging business problems
- Own execution and outcomes
- Drive operational metrics (process throughput, defect rate, etc.)
- Understand the business in-and-out to be proactive about solving emerging problems

Gathering data on patients is vital to provide healthcare workers with the information that they need to reduce repeat hospitalizations, but retrieving such data requires patient monitoring through expensive medical equipment. This ultimately reduces spaces in hospitals and clinics when patients could otherwise be cared for from home, presenting an increased demand for remote patient monitoring (RPM) technology.
Athelas develops RPM hardware and software platforms, helping the healthcare industry monitor the health data of patients without the need for them to be present in hospitals or clinics. The company's solutions include remote devices for blood diagnostics, sensor-driven pillboxes, and glucometers, which connect through software applications for doctors, EHR integrations, and a unified RPM platform.
Whilst the company faces competition from other RPM platforms, Athelas stands out by providing a comprehensive range of hardware monitoring devices and software applications, ultimately contributing toward an all-in-one RPM ecosystem.
