Who you are
- Approaching the final steps of your academic (bachelor/master) career
- Previous sustainability experience and motivation to join a high-performance environment
- Ability to respond to changing priorities in an evolving business environment and to coordinate multiple projects
- Eagerness to learn from an experienced founding team and senior employees
- Strong solution-finding abilities with new, creative approaches on how to overcome challenges
- Excellent oral and written communication skills in English
- Available for 6 months, starting in June
What the job involves
- You’ll work closely with our experienced founding team & SVP Business Development in a collaborative, fast-moving, VC-funded startup
- Help us to create real impact by supporting high-quality carbon credit projects
- Make market analyses and derive actions from academic discussions on the voluntary carbon market
- Attract and support a diverse set of projects globally
- Dive deep into project impact analyses, project materials and data
- Critically question, analyze and improve existing processes. We constantly aim to improve our existing setup with maximum efficiency
Our take
Becoming carbon neutral is now a top priority for companies across Europe. In order to successfully make Europe net zero, businesses must hit compliance targets and minimize/offset carbon emissions. This is where Berlin-based CEEZER comes in.
CEEZER is a marketplace that in short wants to support its clients to decarbonise their operations. The company offers businesses a way to integrate both carbon removal and avoidance credits in portfolios, making the complex voluntary carbon market considerably more accessible.
The company has already passed several successful funding rounds and acquired many customers including the likes of DAX30. Though the market or this type of company is fairly saturated, the calling for the companies is so large that it shouldn’t be an issue. CEEZER is investing its latest fundraise in expanding its US presence and further developing both its product and team.
