Who you are
- We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented intern to join our compliance team
- This role is perfect for someone looking to gain hands-on experience in the fast-paced world of fintech and cryptocurrency compliance
- Notary certification is preferred and training/fees will be provided for
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Finance, Law, Business Administration, or a related field
- Strong interest in fintech and cryptocurrency
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- On-site presence is required one day per week for administrative and notary services
Desirable
- Knowledge of cryptocurrency regulations and compliance requirements
- Notary Public certification in the state of Florida (or willingness to obtain certification)
What the job involves
- The successful candidate will provide administrative support, including performing administrative and notary services (once certified) once a week on-site in Miami, FL
- For the remainder of the week, you will assist with various compliance-related tasks, contributing to our mission of maintaining regulatory excellence
- Perform notary services in-person one day per week at our Miami office
- Manage and organize compliance-related documentation
- Assist in maintaining accurate records and filing systems
- Support the compliance team in daily operations, including monitoring and reviewing transactions for compliance with internal policies and external regulations
- Assist in the preparation and submission of regulatory filings
- Conduct research on regulatory developments in the fintech and cryptocurrency space
- Help develop and update internal compliance policies and procedures
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure company-wide compliance adherence
- Hands-on experience in a dynamic and fast-growing industry
- Mentorship from experienced professionals in the fintech and compliance fields
