Who you are
- The ideal candidate is a seasoned commercial leader who is a strategic thinker and collaborates extensively to get the job done
- Proven experience (10+ years) of leading successful enterprise customer expansion with a track record of scaling and developing large high-performing teams across multiple geographies/ locations
- Fintech and/or payments experience, with a deep understanding of market dynamics, customer needs, and industry trends
- A strong reputation for "making things better," coupled with an entrepreneurial mindset that drives accountability
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Based in the London area and willing and able to work from the office regularly
What the job involves
- Reporting directly to the Chief Commercial Officer, you will be a key member of our Commercial Leadership team, leading the Account Management and New Business Sales teams in Europe, and driving the growth of our European customer base
- You'll create an inspiring environment, and develop the strategic vision for the region aligned with our business goals
- The commercial team is at the heart of how we deliver on our promise to customers to help them achieve their ambitions faster
- By collaborating with cross-functional teams, you'll ensure customer success, emphasising customer-centricity in decision-making and effective execution
- You’ll build and lead a high-performing 20+ person Commercial team (responsible for New and Existing customer growth) with an inspiring, collaborative environment and open feedback culture
- You’ll develop, articulate, and execute a clear vision for Europe (and also influence globally), in alignment with the company's overall business goals and market trends, to continuously evolve and improve how we work
- You’ll set and achieve clear revenue targets and OKRs, ensuring alignment with overall business goals and driving continuous growth and improvement
- You'll work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure our customers succeed with PPRO
- You’ll build and manage executive customer relationships, motivate and inspire your team to help our customers, and help evolve our global commercial team as part of the senior leadership team
- You’ll set and achieve clear team and individual goals focused on revenue growth and NPS
- You’ll build customer relationships, providing proactive advice to influence their global payments strategy and resolve escalations
