AI Engineer, Zola Analytics

• A passion for building AI systems
• 2+ years of relevant experience
• Fluency in python and knowledge of system design
• Hands-on experience with language model programming frameworks such as DSPy, LangChain, Ollama etc
• Expertise in running experiments, optimising models, and machine learning best practices
• Experience with relational databases and embedding models. An understanding of vector and graph databases is a bonus
• Outstanding communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences
• An entrepreneurial mindset, be eager to learn, and have the desire to work in a challenging and exciting startup environment

Desirable

• Design, implement, and fine-tune state-of-the-art machine learning models to power our AI search engine
• Run experiments to validate improvements in model performance and user experience
• Improve the performance of our retrieval systems and databases
• Develop our data pipelines to ensure our systems are scalable and efficient
• Prototype and deploy innovative AI solutions to solve unique challenges in financial and economic analysis
• Debug, troubleshoot, and optimize performance across our AI systems to ensure reliability and responsiveness
