What the job involves

We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Administrative Operations Associate to join our dynamic team
This role offers the opportunity to support the planning and execution of a wide range of internal and external events, including employee engagement activities, company-wide meetings, training sessions, conferences, and social events
You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure events are executed smoothly, efficiently, and align with organizational goals
Event Support: Assist in the coordination of internal and external events, including logistics, scheduling, and communication with attendees
Vendor Coordination: Liaise with internal stakeholders and external vendors to secure event spaces, catering, technology needs, and other event materials
Logistics Management: Help manage event timelines, prepare materials, and ensure all event components are ready in advance (e.g., signage, supplies, attendee lists)
Budget Tracking: Assist in tracking event budgets, ensuring expenses are documented and fall within budgetary constraints
On-Site Event Support: Be present during events to provide on-the-ground support for setup, registration, attendee needs, and troubleshooting
Post-Event Reporting: Collect feedback from attendees, assist with data analysis, and contribute to post-event evaluations to help improve future events
Internal Communication: Collaborate with HR, Marketing, IT, and other teams to ensure internal events align with company culture and goals
Administrative Tasks: Maintain event records, assist with travel arrangements, and manage attendee RSVPs

Our take

Purchasing inventory for veterinary hospitals can be time-consuming and expensive, as finding the best prices requires a lengthy process of researching suppliers and comparing their prices. Whilst some comparison tools do exist for veterinary organizations, existing solutions do not take into account custom negotiations, GPOs, or corporating pricing schemes, limiting the thoroughness of comparisons.

Vetcove provides an online marketplace for veterinary hospital inventory procurement, allowing clinics to reduce ordering times and costs through its free service. The company achieves this by allowing users to link their existing vendor accounts and list their custom pricing arrangements, helping inform a more accurate comparison ecosystem and boost supplier sales, whilst resolving supply chain limitations.

Whilst veterinary organizations already have access to the suppliers provided on Vetcove’s marketplace, the company stands out by integrating custom pricing arrangements into the comparison ecosystem, helping to provide a more holistic and accurate overview of supply chain inventories and costs. Whilst the marketplace is free for veterinary clinics and organizations, the company charges suppliers to be listed.
