Senior Motion Designer, Mistplay

• We are looking for a highly skilled, performance-minded Senior Motion Designer to join our Creative Studio
• You are curious, eager to explore, analyze, and optimize
• 5-7+ years of professional motion design experience, with a strong focus on mobile User Acquisition (UA), direct-response marketing, or performance creative
• Mastery of Adobe Creative Cloud (After Effects, Premiere Pro, Photoshop, Illustrator) with deep expertise in 2D animation, typography, editing, visual storytelling, and kinetic text
• Mobile Gaming Native: A strong understanding of mobile game mechanics, gameplay editing, and mobile UI/UX visual language
• Familiarity with AI-driven creative tools (Midjourney, Runway, Stable Diffusion) to speed up concepting and asset generation
• Performance-Driven Mindset: You don't just care about making things look good—you understand why a 3-second hook works, how visual pacing drives conversion, and how to read creative performance data
• Sound & Storytelling Expertise: Excellent sense of pacing, rhythm, audio mixing, and sound design tailored for short-form, mobile-first video
• Strong Portfolio/Reel: A robust showreel demonstrating high-end motion graphics, engaging video ads, and dynamic visual storytelling (specifically in mobile, gaming, or app marketing)

Desirable

• In this role, you will be the creative engine behind our User Acquisition (UA) video ads—crafting high-converting, visually efficient video assets across paid social and programmatic channels (TikTok, Meta, YouTube, Unity, etc.)
• You’ll blend UGC plates, gameplay storytelling, slick animations, and data-backed creative insights to scale our global user base
• End-to-End UA Video Production: Concept, storyboard, design, animate, and edit high-impact, short-form video ads optimized for mobile UA channels
• Creative Iteration & Scaling: Take winning ad concepts and rapidly produce high-quality variations (hooks, CTAs, gameplay mechanics, sound design, visual styles) to combat ad fatigue and test performance hypotheses
• Collaborate with Creative & UA Teams: Partner closely with Motion Designers, Creative Strategists, Copywriters, and UA Managers to align visual concepts with performance metrics (CPI, ROAS, IPM)
• Innovate & Trend Watch: Stay ahead of mobile gaming trends, platform-specific editing styles (TikTok/Reels native style vs. cinematic gameplay), and creative tech/AI workflows to continuously elevate our creative output
• Mentorship & Quality Standards: Help set the bar for visual quality, animation polish, and workflow efficiency across the UA Creative team
