Who you are
- You have experience building technical products
- You thrive in a startup, where you need to take ownership to drive outcomes
- You are technical, you know how to code and how to use Git. You are not afraid of diving deep and rolling up your sleeves when you come across something hard
- You’ve shipped enterprise products before and know how to strike a balance between collecting evidence and building your own conviction to make good product decisions

- You can balance technical, user, and business needs and make informed decisions about how the user experience should work
- You have experience with LLM Evaluation-related tools and platforms
- We’re a startup, so you’ll have to be comfortable rolling up your sleeves and doing whatever is required to support our mission.
What the job involves
- We’re looking for a Senior Product Manager to join our Product team
- You will be one of the main Product managers on our new exciting app powered by LLMs
- You will work on greenfield and cutting-edge technology with the goal to make it user-friendly
- You will be reporting to the Director, Product
- As a Senior Product Manager, you'll make an impact on your team by:
- Being an effective Senior Product Manager and who has already mastered the role:
- You will collaborate with cross-functional teams including product designer, engineers, ML engineers as well as the GTM team (CSE, Sales etc.)
- You will talk to customers on a weekly basis, and meet with them in person regularly
- You will help shape the vision and strategy of Studio while managing your own roadmap
- Working on and influencing the exciting new technologies and innovations that Rasa is developing
- Continuously learn and expand your technical understanding of the Conversational AI space in order to make the right product decisions
- Staying up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies in the space
- The product team currently consists of 4 Product Managers and 3 Product Designers who collaborate closely
Our take
Rasa is a platform for AI-led personalized conversations. There’s no shortage of competition in this market, with the likes of Google’s Dialogflow and Microsoft’s LUIS, but Rasa has taken a different approach. It moves away from the standard ’this question receives this response’ hard-coded chat bots to a system that uses AI technologies to understand what the customer is saying in context.
Rasa's open source platform has grown a large community which has helped with integrating the system into a wide range of messaging platforms, and in creating extensions to the functionality of the system. This in turn has increased its use and popularity.
While Rasa is coming under increasing pressure from a swarm of chatbot providers powered by ChatGPT and other generative AIs, Rasa has integrated large language models into its own platform. This, combined with recent funding and recognition as a leader in generative conversational AI, puts the company in a very good position going forward.
