Role
Who you are
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, Communications or a related field
- 8+ years hands-on marketing experience with demonstrated knowledge of marketing plan development, managing vendors, event delivery and tactic execution
- Prior team leadership experience, including hiring and managing successful organizational change
- Proven experience working with sales teams and supporting programs to drive awareness and sales
- Prior Partner/Channel Marketing experience
- Ability to align tactical plans with strategies
- Strong consultative marketing approach to effectively engage with sales and channel partner community
- A strong understanding of marketing technology and principals
- Strong project management skills and attention to detail
- Highly motivated individual who thrives in a fast-paced team environment and is readily adaptable to changing market and organizational requirements
- Ability to consistently produce results on time and within budget
- Focused on data and metrics
- Strong verbal and written communications skills, including presentations
- Ability to effectively network and leverage internal and external resources
What the job involves
- Storyblok seeks a strategic Director of Field and Partner Marketing to build and lead a high-performing team focused on expanding our enterprise footprint in EMEA
- His role is pivotal in generating new logo demand, accelerating sales pipeline, and optimizing deal closure rates
- By fostering strong relationships within our partner community, you’ll jointly develop strategies and activity plans that measurably drive mutual growth, and position Storyblok as the leading CMS platform in the region
- Develop and execute a revenue-generating EMEA field marketing strategy and execute a quarterly updated 6-month rolling marketing activity plan aligned with overall company goals
- Establish Storyblok as a thought leader in the EMEA market through targeted campaigns and thought leadership initiatives
- Using ICP Account Centric marketing tactics, generate new logo demand within the enterprise segment across EMEA
- Develop and manage a robust partner marketing program to drive mutual growth
- Build, develop, and inspire a high-performing field and partner marketing team to achieve ambitious growth targets
- Identify, recruit, and develop top marketing talent to support the team's growth and success
- Leverage data and analytics to identify market opportunities, optimize campaign performance, and measure ROI
- Measure and analyze marketing activity performance and ICP Account Intent progression to optimize ROI
- Work in partnership with the Campaign marketing team to gain leverage from core themes, content and influence future Field and Partner marketing requirements
- During planning development and at point of execution, socialize and gain input for the marketing plan from GTM stakeholders to ensure buy-in and support
- Research, choose, design and manage live events to be included as tactics in the overall marketing mix, and ensure there is a cohesive pre-event, at-event and post-event strategy to increase engagement and response rates
- Develop and implement pipeline acceleration programs jointly with sales
- Forecast, measure, analyze and report on impact of programs
- Own and manage the annual field marketing budget
- Prioritize and manage projects to timelines, budget, and resources
- Collaborate closely with sales, product, and customer success teams to achieve business objectives
Our take
A headless content management system (CMS) consists of a back-end that stores the content and a decoupled front-end display. This lets the content be streamed to any platform including apps, wearable devices or digital displays via an API. Compared to the other headless CMS solutions, Storyblok’s CMS provides highly customisable content blocks and visual editing tools. This gives developers the flexibility to build fast and reliable digital platforms. It is the first headless CMS to integrate such features into a modern headless architecture.
The company counts Pizza Hut, Adidas, UPC, Greggs and Decathlon amongst clients, alongside many thousands of solo developers that use their CMS. These are powering more than 74,000 projects across 130 countries.
Storyblok intends to use its new funding to expand its presence in the USA after its previous round accelerated expansion in key European markets including Germany and Ireland.
