Role
Who you are
- Proven record of designing and developing robust backend services using C# .NET, PostgreSQL, & Redis(or similar) on cloud infrastructure
- Strong grasp of software architecture and clean code principles
- Thorough experience with cloud platforms (GCP) and containerization
- Experience with messaging systems (Pub/Sub, Cloud Tasks)
- Good organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
- Care deeply about quality, scalability and future expansion of the technical design and implementation

Desirable
- Experience in integration test automation and contract testing
- Exposure to, or knowledge of the domain driven design architecture
- Championing security best practices in backend development
What the job involves
- Collaborate with product and QA to define and estimate the scope of roadmap items
- Design and develop high quality code and help implementing best practice
- Participate in code and design reviews across the development team to ensure alignment with the standards considering the bigger picture
- Help with onboarding new joiners and provide mentorship to the team
- Monitor the system and infrastructure health and respond to the alerts
- Identify, log and solve technical issues and inefficiencies
- Keep questioning everything and champion continuous improvement
