Who you are
- 3-4 years of experience in GTM Operations, Product Operations, CS or similar SaaS Operations role
- Fluent with numbers; you reason from data by default
- You like to build, and you've used LLMs to prototype something real
- You've run complex projects with stakeholders who don't all agree
- You bring order to ambiguity instead of waiting for a plan
What the job involves
- This role is for someone who wants to live inside that. You'll be the operational owner for some of our customers, embedding with their teams, driving deployments live, and then relentlessly making them better
- It's part launch, part customer success, part product builder. You don't need to be an Engineer today, but you should be hungry to build, comfortable with AI tooling, and the kind of person who'd rather prototype the fix than write a ticket about it
- Own product launches and adoption as the person customer leadership calls when something matters
- Build to unblock: When a customer is stuck, you prototype the workflow, process or feature
- Develop real relationships with customer stakeholders, from frontline operators to executives, and translate their world into what our product needs to do
- Turn customer reality into product direction by synthesizing what you see on the ground into clear, high-signal feedback for Product and Engineering
- Spend time on-site on a regular basis. The most valuable work happens in the room
- Manage escalations in ways that strengthen the relationship
- Help customers unlock the full potential of Commure’s AI
- Contribute to internal process and documentation — identifying gaps, proposing improvements, and owning initiatives through to completion
Our take
Today, healthcare providers are tackling the growing challenge of too much paperwork and too little time for patients. Many existing electronic health record (EHR) systems only add to the problem - digital, yes, but often too clunky, time-consuming, and disconnected from the tools doctors actually need. Athelas is tackling this by reimagining how healthcare software works, helping providers spend less time lcicking and more time caring for people.
Athelas offers a full suite of tools that combine AI-powered automation, remote patient monitoring (RPM), and integrated EHR and billing systems. And its newest platform, Athelas AIR, is a next-generation EHR designed to unify clinical and administrative workflows in one intelligent system. By embedding revenue cycle management (RCM) and ambient AI documentation directly into the platform, Athelas AIR streamlines everything from charting to billing. And the goal is simple, to reduce administrative burden, improve margins, and ultimately, give healthcare teams a smoother, smarter way to work.
The company has made significant strides in recent years. After reaching unicorn status in 2022 and merging with Commure in 2023, Athelas is now valued at around $6B and continues to expand its platform. Alongside growing adoption of Athelas AIR, the company has recently secured FDA clearance for its Athelas Home device - an AI-powered diagnostic tool that delivers lab-grade blood test results from a fingerstick in minutes. This allows care teams to test, diagnose, and make decisions in a single visit. With a growing customer base and a broader push into AI-driven diagnostics as well as software, Athelas is ready to be a leader in end-to-end, intelligent healthcare infrastructure.
