Role

Who you are

  • At least 3 years of experience in Sales Engineering, Solutions Architecture, and/or Technical Consulting
  • A strong understanding of APIs and SaaS tools, with the ability to articulate technical details to both technical and non-technical stakeholders in a clear and compelling way
  • A “can-do” self-starter mentality with the ability to roll-up your sleeves, dive into the weeds, and thrive in a fast-paced, ambiguous start-up culture
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills and adept at managing multiple priorities and meeting deadlines
  • Bonus points: familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, Snowflake

What the job involves

  • Reporting to the SVP of Growth, you’ll work cross-functionally across Sales and Engineering to drive revenue
  • Whether it's mastering the intricacies of our APIs and SaaS tools or finding creative solutions to meet client needs, you'll play a pivotal role in shaping the success of our company and building our Go To Market initiatives
  • As our founding Solutions Engineer, you'll be at the forefront of our efforts to overcome technical challenges and drive sales growth
  • Acting as a technical advisor during the sales process, addressing client queries and concerns
  • Conducting product demonstrations, highlighting key features and benefits to prospects
  • Mastering the technical aspects of APIs and SaaS tools to provide effective sales tactics
  • Collaborating and working closely with both technical and sales teams to ensure seamless communication of product capabilities, enhancements, and new features

Powered by artificial intelligence, Qloo is aiming to understanding taste and cultural correlations. While giants like Spotify, Expedia and Netflix dominate their sectors, they inadvertently create "data silos", where valuable information remains isolated. A unified system, however, could help understand and predict diverse personal tastes across various domains.

To confront this, Qloo provides companies with AI-generated correlation data spanning numerous cultural and entertainment domains. Leveraging its platform, a user's taste in one category or genre can seamlessly inform recommendations in another, leading to more personalized experiences. For example, Starbucks is using Qloo to create in-store music playlists tailored to specific neighborhoods, enhancing customer engagement.

With an influx in funding over 2023 and 2024, Qloo plans to introduce an accessible self-service interface, aiding small and mid-sized enterprises in charting consumer and taste analytics. Additionally, it has introduced the "multi-person recommendation AI", capable of matching profiles based on individual preferences stored in its database, which further solidifies its position as a leader in personalized recommendation solutions.
