Who you are
- The FactSet Summer Internship Scheme is a paid 10 week program that commences in Summer 2025 and is open to penultimate year undergraduate and postgraduate students studying Computer Science, Computing or Software Engineering (or an equivalent degree in this field)
- Applicants must be studying for their degree at a UK university and have a keen interest in Software Engineering
What the job involves
- As a Software Engineering Intern, you will be working on key production systems and R&D ideas, helping to ensure FactSet’s financial information products are always available, reliable and continually searching for improvements, solving complex issues and working on new innovative products and services
- Our teams in London work with some of the core parts of our product suite that include real time systems, messaging, content integration, data services, key infrastructure and analysis applications / tools
- Software Engineers at FactSet drive reliability, performance, usability and innovation in our products and applications that are a core part of the Global Investment Market
- The solutions you will find will require high levels of original thinking and creativity
- We work on a variety of platforms (including Windows and Linux) and in a number of core languages (for example C++, C#, JavaScript and Perl) to build robust and well-designed solutions
- Our Interns are assigned to individual projects that allow them to make a significant contribution within talented, highly supportive teams, whilst developing new skills in a Software Development environment

FactSet is an S&P 500 company creating flexible, open data solutions for investment professionals around the globe. The company was founded at the end of the 1970s, when the prominence of computers spurred the founders to find a way to deliver computer-based financial information. In doing so, FactSet revolutionized the delivery of this data to clients, which had previously been by messenger and on paper.
Investors use FactSet to access instant financial data and analytics that educate their investment decisions. In 2022, FactSet for CRM launched on the Salesforce AppExchange; reaching users looking to get a complete, reliable view of current and prospective customers.
