Role
Who you are
- A minimum of 10 years of software engineering experience, with a focus on system architecture and design
- Deep understanding of fundamentals of Computer Science and Programming Languages
- Solid grasp of software engineering principles and practices
- Profound expertise in Go, with extensive experience in building and maintaining distributed systems
- Excellent knowledge of NoSQL databases, particularly MongoDB, demonstrating the ability to design, implement, and optimize database solutions for scalability and performance
- Highly technical and hands-on experience
- Excellent communication skills, capable of working across diverse teams and translating complex technical concepts into understandable terms
- A track record of strategic problem-solving, with the ability to balance speed, quality, and scope effectively
- A commitment to teamwork, collaboration, and fostering an inclusive work environment
- MS in Computer Science or similar field
What the job involves
- Collaborate closely with both technical and product teams to translate product and market requirements into designs that align with mid and long term goals for the product and technology evolution
- Design, implement (code), review and troubleshoot highly scalable cloud software
- Work with engineering management to scope and plan engineering efforts
- Utilize your deep understanding of cloud computing architecture to influence technical design and implementations, ensuring our solutions are scalable, reliable, and secure
- Provide technical leadership and oversight across projects, driving innovation and ensuring the delivery of high-quality solutions
- Embrace a user-first approach to continuously improve the user experience, leveraging your strong analytical skills to solve complex problems and drive product excellence
- Mentor and guide junior engineers, fostering an environment of growth and learning
