- Passion for Social Media: Enthusiasm for creating animations that thrive in the fast-evolving world of social media trends and platforms
- Adaptability: Experience working in fast-paced environments, balancing creativity and performance metrics to deliver impactful results
- Animation Expertise: Proven skills in animation, motion graphics, design, and typography with 8+ years of experience in a creative team for a global business or agency
- Creative Problem Solver: Strong creative eye for animation, ability to deliver high-quality content in a fast-paced environment, and experience with best practice motion graphics creation processes
- Technical Proficiency: Adobe Creative Suite (Especially After Effects and Premiere Pro) and Figma
- (Bonus: Cinema 4D + Redshift)
- Brand-Focused: Passion for branding and design, ensuring customer-centric animation development
- Team Player: Excellent interpersonal skills, emotional intelligence, and experience managing third-party agencies and freelancers
- Additional Skills: Numeracy, experience with task management tools (Microsoft Word, Excel, Trello, Google Docs), and desirable skills in video editing, graphic design, social media and marketing
What the job involves
- You'll work alongside passionate, talented professionals who are committed to pushing the boundaries of animation and design while fostering a supportive and inspiring culture that encourages growth and fresh ideas
- Creative Collaboration: Work closely with social, marketing, and design teams to develop innovative and on-brand animations that engage and grow our audience
- Animated Content Creation: Deliver high quality animated content for social media in addition to other platforms including campaigns, events, advertising, and in-app animations
- Creative Interpretation: Follow creative direction to produce compelling and on-brand animations for daily, weekly, and seasonal projects
- Innovative Design: Develop creative ways to showcase OKX products and brand through video, challenging and innovating within world-class animation content
- Strategic Development: Work closely with the Design Director to align animated content with business goals and budget, supporting acquisition and retention teams
- Continuous Improvement: Review and optimize animations, staying updated on trends in motion graphics and crypto/blockchain news
- Creative Operations: Define and improve production processes, ensuring efficiency and integration. Collaborate with various teams for a consistent omni-channel approach
- Team Management: Foster a positive, supportive, and innovative culture within the Brand Design team, mentoring and developing team members

OKX is using its structural position in cryptomarkets to help support the entire sector, announcing a market recovery fund to protect crypto firms facing collapse following the FTX crisis. Additionally, it is expanding into Web3 gaming with a 2023 partnership with Thirdverse, further increasing the scope of its offering to its client base. As long as it can continue to weather the tough market conditions for cryptocurrency it should maintain its excellent position to continue its growth.
