Who you are
- You bring a strong ownership mindset and a bias for decisive action, and you are comfortable operating in ambiguity, establishing new go‑to‑market motions, and scaling those that prove effective
- This role is ideal for a seasoned product marketer who wants to build something foundational—a point of view on the EMEA and APAC markets, durable growth engines, and, over time, a high‑performing team
- 10+ years in B2B SaaS marketing with a strong product marketing foundation, including 5+ years in a leadership role - ideally having built or scaled a team
- Meaningful track record leading product marketing for international or EMEA markets, ideally with enterprise or upper mid‑market customers
- Demonstrated success building and executing go‑to‑market strategies that drove adoption, revenue, and retention in new or underpenetrated regions
- Comfortable turning ambiguous problem spaces into clear strategies and roadmaps, and driving them through execution with cross‑functional partners
- Strong storyteller who can distill complex, data‑rich products into concise, compelling narratives for senior audiences
- Highly analytical, able to use data to size opportunities, prioritize bets, and measure impact across the funnel
- Proven cross‑functional collaborator with experience influencing Product, Sales, Marketing, and Customer Success at senior levels
- Experience hiring, coaching, or informally leading other product marketers and excited to build and scale a regional PMM team
- Must be comfortable presenting to large groups and willing to speak at regional events and tradeshows
- Domain expertise in financial services, capital markets, or market intelligence is strongly preferred, as is experience with AI, data, or analytics products
- Comfortable with hybrid working, including time in our Monument based office
- Fluency in English required; additional European languages are a plus
What the job involves
- We are hiring a Director of Product Marketing – International (EMEA and APAC) to define how AlphaSense wins across our priority international markets. This is our first dedicated product marketing leader in-region, based in London, and a pivotal partner to regional Sales and Marketing as well as our global Product and Product Marketing teams
- You will own the strategy for how we position AlphaSense in EMEA and APAC, shaping the narratives, segments, and go‑to‑market plays that drive awareness, adoption, and expansion
- Set the product marketing strategy for EMEA and APAC, defining where we play (markets, segments, use cases) and how we win
- Craft region-specific messaging, positioning, and narratives that resonate with EMEA and APAC buyers and users, capturing international market share and driving brand awareness
- Lead end‑to‑end go‑to‑market for key launches and growth initiatives in EMEA and APAC, from opportunity assessment and segmentation through launch planning and post‑launch iteration
- Partner closely with regional Sales, Marketing, SDR, and Customer Success to build full‑funnel journeys that drive awareness, pipeline, adoption, and expansion
- Translate complex product capabilities and rich content into clear, role‑based value propositions and stories that equip revenue teams to win
- Run structured market and customer insight work—win/loss, customer interviews, field feedback, competitive analysis—in partnership with the Competitive Intelligence team, to maintain a live, opinionated view of the EMEA and APAC landscapes
- Feed EMEA and APAC perspectives into the global roadmap, advocating for regional needs, risks, and opportunities grounded in data and customer signal
- Create and maintain high‑impact sales and customer assets for EMEA and APAC (narratives, pitch decks, one‑pagers, battlecards, talk tracks) and partner with Revenue Enablement on training
- Establish simple, scalable operating rhythms (business reviews, launch cadences, feedback loops) that connect EMEA and APAC GTM teams with global Product and Marketing
- Start as a hands‑on player‑coach and, over time, design and hire an EMEA product marketing team, building a strong team culture from day one
- You will define how AlphaSense shows up in EMEA and APAC, and help shape a critical growth chapter for the company
- You will sit at the center of product, market, and GTM, influencing what we build, how we position it, and how we take it to market
- You will have the runway to build—from motions to team—while working alongside experienced leaders in product, sales, and marketing who care deeply about craft

To remedy this, AlphaSense has built a smart search engine that slashes research time for analysts, using thousands of sources and a semantic indexing layer that can effectively query finance-specific language.
As a disruptor and market leader in this field, AlphaSense has few direct competitors, being most closely compared to Wolfram Alpha or LexisNexis. It helps that its tools are undoubtedly effective and valued by knowledge professionals: the company counts about 85% of the S&P 100 as customers and is trusted by J.P.Morgan, Microsoft, Credit Suisse and Google, among other major enterprises.
Having raised a large amount of funding over 2022 and 2023, AlphaSense has moved quickly to double down on its expansion in European markets, opening an office in Berlin to support this. With 2024 seeing investment from Singaporean EDBI, it has now set its sights on the Asia-Pacific region. As business intelligence will remain key for enterprises as they compete for market share, AlphaSense is well-placed for additional future growth.
