Role
Who you are
- Proven experience in IT management or a similar role, preferably in a growing organization
- Proficiency in managing macOS devices with Jamf
- Strong knowledge of cloud-based applications and SaaS tools
- Solid understanding of IT security principles and best practices
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities, with a focus on user satisfaction
Desirable
- Experience implementing IT process improvements and scaling IT operations
- Familiarity with other device management tools and environments (e.g., Windows, mobile devices)
- Knowledge of scripting or automation to streamline IT tasks
- Experience in training and user education on IT tools
What the job involves
- Device and Endpoint Management
- Oversee and manage the company’s fleet of laptops (predominantly MacBooks) using Jamf for provisioning, monitoring, and security compliance
- Ensure the seamless onboarding and offboarding of devices for employees
- Maintain inventory and lifecycle tracking of all IT hardware and devices. Application and Service Management
- Administer and support software and services used across the organization, ensuring high availability and optimal performance
- Manage licenses, user accounts, and access permissions for key platforms (e.g., collaboration tools, productivity software, and industry-specific applications)
- Collaborate with teams to evaluate, implement, and maintain new tools to enhance productivity. IT Infrastructure and Security
- Ensure compliance with IT security policies and practices, including regular system audits and updates
- Identify potential risks and implement strategies to mitigate them, including data loss prevention and endpoint security measures
- Act as a primary point of contact for troubleshooting and resolving technical issues. Business Process Improvement
- Evaluate current IT processes and recommend improvements to enhance efficiency and scalability
- Develop and document IT policies, procedures, and best practices tailored to the company’s needs
- Support cross-functional teams in IT-related aspects of strategic initiatives. Team Support
- Provide responsive, high-quality IT support to staff, ensuring issues are addressed promptly
- Deliver training and resources to help employees maximize their use of IT tools and services
