Who you are

Bachelor’s degree required or equivalent experience
1+ years of Payroll experience required
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel. Advanced Excel skills including pivot tables, VLOOKUP, data manipulation, and analysis
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks effectively
Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) certification is a plus
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment
Demonstrate organizational and time management abilities
Excellent decision-making, analytical, and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail
A solid understanding of payroll compliance at the federal, state, and local levels
Ability to communicate clearly with clients and provide excellent customer service
Ability to sit for extended periods: The role requires sitting at a desk or workstation for long periods, typically 7-8 hours a day
Use of computer and phone systems: The employee must be able to operate a computer, use phone systems, and type. This includes using multiple software programs and inquiries simultaneously

What the job involves

This role is responsible for supporting client implementations with a strong focus on data migration, validation, and test payroll execution
This role involves collaborating closely with Sales, Data Conversion, Implementation, and Managed Services teams to ensure successful project outcomes and identify opportunities for additional services
The consultant plays a key role in onboarding client data, driving projects to completion, and ensuring go-live dates are met
Collaborate internally with Sales, Implementation, and Managed Services teams to ensure successful project outcomes
