Role

Who you are

  • 8+ years of media and telecom software sales experience, MUST have worked with media companies in Germany and West Europe and a wide range network
  • Success meeting and exceeding quotas with new business sales
  • Closure oriented, sales hunter (proven experience is a MUST)
  • Experience proposing, presenting, and discussing solutions with C-level and other executive level decision-makers
  • Willingness and ability to travel up to 50% of the time
  • Reporting to VP sales

What the job involves

  • The Director of Sales - Media and telecom will be selling our market leading video platform. You will create and maintain C-level client relationships with key stakeholders in the decision-making and closing process
  • Work with large media and telecom companies as well as some medium sized businesses, across multiple verticals, to meet their video needs, supported by a team of Kaltura product managers and pre-sales engineers
  • Strategically identify, target, and close new Kaltura media and telecom customer accounts
  • Manage a complex, solution sale with a 3-12 month sales cycle
  • Introduce clients to the strength of our video delivery
  • Attend trade-shows, actively engaging attendees and initiating conversations with prospects
