Role
Who you are
- Experience administering the Atlassian toolset, in particular, Jira and Confluence
- Ability to demonstrate experience in consulting and user support
- Experience customizing Atlassian software through the use of workflows and add-ons, for example ScriptRunner
- Comfortable working both independently and collaboratively in a virtual face-to-face environment through online tools (e.g. WebEx, Zoom, Slack, Skype, etc.)
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills
- An ability to think innovatively and creatively
- Personable, helpful and professional attitude

Desirable

What the job involves
- The Application Administrator position will work with customers to help them get the most out of their Atlassian software, including configuring and customizing key Atlassian Software applications (Jira, Confluence, Jira Service Desk), as well as other Atlassian applications and marketplace software
- As part of our clients' partially outsourced teams, this position will assist their businesses by acting as a remote administrator on a day-to-day basis
- This position will work with customers to respond to requests on a priority basis in a timely fashion to configure their Atlassian software to meet their needs
- The role will also directly help customers automate processes to improve efficiencies and streamline processes
- The Application Administrator will perform as a remote outsourced Atlassian administrator for various clients at the same time
- Maintaining high proficiency in Atlassian and Adaptavist toolsets, contributing to team knowledge sharing and adhering to best practices
- Onboard and become familiar with customer applications
- Monitoring and responding to customer requests on the Adaptavist service desk
- Answering customer questions about how to best use the Atlassian applications in their business
- Creating projects, configuring permissions and workflows and other solutions at the request of the customer
- Working on multiple administrative activities according to agreed upon customer priorities
- Communicating with the customer and other team members to understand and deliver configuration solutions
- Solving issues and providing best practice recommendations to the customer
- Recording your work and time
- Following security protocols that the customer may establish

Worked as a Senior Security Consultant for Barclaycard, and was Director of WTG. First joined Adaptavist as a Board Advisor, and was made CEO in 2010.

Reece joined TAG as an Associate Software Engineer in May 2019. Within 5 months, they advanced to Software Engineer, then to Senior in under two years, and by September 2024, became Staff Engineer.
Sarah joined TAG as a Project Manager in 2017 in the Toronto office. They found their true calling in Sales and made an internal move a couple of years later and have since advanced to become a Strategic Sales Executive.
Rodrigo initially worked with TAG as a Contractor before joining the UK team permanently as a Commercial Operations Analyst. Since then, they moved to the Madrid office as a Business Operations Manager.
