Who you are
- Experience: 3+ years in partnerships, business development, or strategic alliances, ideally within cloud computing, AI/ML, or open-source software environments
- Technical Acumen: Strong understanding of database & search technology, AI/ML ecosystems, and open-source solutions. Ability to communicate technical concepts effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences
- Proven Track Record: Demonstrated success in identifying, negotiating, and scaling strategic partnerships that drive revenue and product adoption
- Relationship-Building Skills: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with experience managing relationships across diverse stakeholder groups
- Strategic Thinking: Ability to develop and execute partnership strategies that align with broader business objectives
- Collaboration: Experience working cross-functionally with Product, Engineering, Sales, and Marketing teams to deliver seamless partnership experiences
- Adaptability: Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, rapidly evolving startup environment
What the job involves
- We are looking for a Partnerships Manager to build and nurture strategic relationships that propel our growth and contribute to the global adoption of Qdrant’s solutions
- Develop and execute a comprehensive partnership strategy that aligns with Qdrant’s overall business goals
- Identify and prioritize potential partners, including cloud providers, vector embeddings providers, system integrators, ISVs, and other relevant market players
- Initiate, develop, and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with strategic partners, aligning on mutual goals and ensuring clear communication
- Drive joint solution development and go-to-market activities, from concept to execution, ensuring partner success and satisfaction
- Lead partner negotiations, including defining partnership terms, collaboration frameworks, and co-marketing opportunities
- Coordinate technical onboarding and integration for new partners, working closely with internal product and engineering teams
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Product, Engineering, Marketing, and Sales teams to create customized partnership proposals and materials
- Develop partner training programs, ensuring partners fully understand Qdrant’s value proposition, product capabilities, and future roadmap
- Establish clear KPIs to measure partnership effectiveness (e.g., revenue impact, new leads, integration success)
- Regularly review and report progress, identifying areas for continuous improvement and growth
- Stay on top of industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging technologies to identify new partnership opportunities
- Act as a subject-matter expert for vector search, providing market insights to internal teams to refine Qdrant’s product and partnership approach
Our take
In many cases, documents may have too few keywords, or queries might be too large for the usual full-text search to provide the desired result. In such cases, the search either finds no intersections or returns a lot of irrelevant results. Qdrant is setting out to solve this problem with a neural network-based semantic search which can be used stand-alone or in conjunction with traditional search.
Qdrant utilises applied AI and metric learning to provide users with an open-source neural search engine. This engine has proven popular with businesses looking to turn their unstructured data into an asset. The possible applications of this technology greatly vary, from product recommendations in e-commerce to image recognition and analysis of anomalies.
Qdrant has received a lot of trust and capital from leading investors. In 2026, it was awarded $50 million in Series B, enabling it to develop and scale its composable vector search platform further. This will be invaluable to the company as it continues to innovate and increase its consumer base.
