Who you are
- Passion for Design and Typography
- Good knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, specifically After Effects, Photoshop and Illustrator
- Video editing experience
- Strong attention to detail
- Self-motivated with team spirit and positive can-do attitude
- Ability to work across multiple projects
- Eager to work on a variety of projects, from partial input or repetitive tasks to undertaking projects from start to finish
- Possess principles that are aligned with our company culture and be an advocate for Vevo values
- Fantastic understanding of visual communication and creative problem-solving
- Desire to develop and test new concepts
- Ability to create considered design and motion graphics content that delivers strong aesthetics and a clear message
- Rising Junior or Senior currently enrolled in an accredited college or university
- Desire to pursue a career in the media industry
- 20 hours per week (4 June 2024 - 8 August 2024)
What the job involves
- The Summer 2024 Internship program at Vevo is a paid opportunity designed for qualified students to gain hands-on experience while learning about the media and entertainment industry.
- We’re looking for a Junior Digital Designer to intern at Vevo as part of the Design team in Europe
- You will be shadowing the team and responsible for the ideation, development, and creation of both static and motion assets to support Vevo’s original content, social initiatives, and Connected Television
- This role will be well integrated within the design team with lots of room for making your mark and bringing your ideas and initiative to the table
- This is a part-time Hybrid position for Summer 2024
- Prepare creative concepts, storyboards, and prototypes
- Create and edit dynamic animations and motion graphics for audio and video content
- Create rough and final cuts, inputting music, dialogues, graphics, and effects
- Static design creation
- Take ownership of work assigned, and ensure they meet agreed deadlines assigned by the Design Director
- Collaborate closely with the Designers and Motion Designer whilst reporting to the Design Director
- Build relationships within the wider content team through regular and clear communication and a collaborative approach to work
