Who you are
- You must thrive working on open-ended problems across a range of disciplines; we are a start-up where our engineers do much more than just pick up JIRA tickets

- Strong communication skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Experience building backend services in Python; interest or experience with Go and/or Rust is a plus
- Experience developing modern frontend applications with React and TypeScript
- Hands-on experience with AWS cloud deployments and basic infrastructure concepts
- Familiarity with modern software development practices: Git, CI/CD, automated testing, and Docker
What the job involves
- A typical week may include debugging python, deploying infrastructure changes, talking to product early-adopters, and strategic planning with the team leads
- Working with product managers and engineers to design and deliver full-stack features end-to-end
- Building and maintaining backend services and APIs in Python, with opportunities to work in Go or Rust
- Developing user-facing applications using React and TypeScript
- Deploying and operating cloud-native applications on AWS with a focus on reliability and scalability
- Maintaining, monitoring, and improving production systems and development workflows
