- Understanding of IT infrastructure and support processes
- Familiarity with common business software and SaaS applications
- Working knowledge of both MacOS and Windows operating systems
- Experience with basic troubleshooting and problem-solving in Mac and PC environments
- Experience in a helpdesk or customer support role

- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team

What the job involves
- We're seeking an enthusiastic mid-level IT Systems Specialist to join our growing team
- This role will join our small but high-impact IT team in our growing organization, providing frontline support and assistance to our team members in the office and remotely
- Onsite support is especially valuable during high-traffic days like team offsites, social events, and other moments when our teams gather in person
- Be our frontline support by independently providing friendly and efficient day-to-day hardware and software support to Second Dinner team members both remotely and in office
- Manage and troubleshoot core tools and services, including:
- Okta (Single Sign-On)
- Google Workspace
- Slack
- GitHub
- Unity
- Zoom
- Atlassian products (Jira, Confluence)
- Microsoft 365
- Field support needs for both MacOS and Windows PC environments, including:
- Set up and configure new machines
- Troubleshoot hardware and software issues
- Manage software updates and patches
- Assist with data migration and backups
- Oversee our MDM platforms and mobile devices (Microsoft InTune for Windows, Kandji for macOS)
- Maintain hardware and software inventories
- Document IT processes and create user guides
- Support and work with the IT team to implement automation initiatives in the IT department
- Collaborate and support the IT Manager and Security & Compliance Manager on various strategic projects
- Stay current with IT best practices and emerging technologies

For a long time, the gaming industry was dominated by a small number of studios. In recent years, however, the prevalence of small, independent studios has risen. Second Dinner Studios is one of a crop of new games studios looking to disrupt this ever-growing market.
Second Dinner was founded by a team of former directors, producers and artists from Blizzard Entertainment, one of the biggest names in gaming. This combined expertise, which covers every aspect of the game creation process, has helped the company to gain a solid foothold in the market. In 2022, Second Dinner launched its first game, Marvel SNAP, the end product of a high value partnership with entertainment giant Disney.
The gaming market is one of the fastest growing industries in the world, and Second Dinner's partnership with Marvel, the world's most recognisable franchise, has helped set it apart from the crowd. However, the company has faced pushback over its in-game monetization features. Nonetheless, Second Dinner was quick to remedy these features, displaying impressive agility.
