Role
Who you are
- Do you love food and are passionate about enhancing access to healthy food at work? Feedr is looking for a passionate young foodie to be part of our vendor team. Our vendor team manages partnerships with high-street restaurants, such as Leon, Pure, Coco di Mama and small independents. The role is a varied position with an opportunity to gain experience in corporate hospitality in an agile tech start-up
- We are constantly striving to grow our community of vendors with London’s best restaurants and dark kitchens, aligning with our principles and serving our clients delicious, nutritious high-quality meals. This role combines supporting the restaurant team on administrative tasks with exposure to both sales and account management activities while onboarding restaurant partners
- You have a strong work ethic and are self-motivated and target-driven
- You are curious and enjoy researching information and uncovering new opportunities
- You’re organised with attention to detail, able to manage your time effectively, and comfortable prioritising tasks in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- You’re tech-savvy and have ideally already gained experience in working with a variety of basic systems, such as Gmail, Microsoft Office
- You’re driven and always keen to keep learning
- You are confident with written and verbal communication skills
- You are a self-starter and proactive but also love working in a team and contributing to a bigger common goal

What the job involves
- Understanding gaps in our restaurant community - using a data-driven approach to guide vendor reach out
- Researching London and emerging markets' most innovative eateries
- List building & outreach to new restaurant partners
- Supporting in working with new restaurants to create the perfect Feedr menu
- Supporting our restaurant partners in digitalising their menus
- Managing weekly and rotating menus
- Tasting our vendors' food and providing feedback
- Drive cross-functional collaboration by keeping teams informed on vendor partnerships, supporting logistics and account growth, working with catering and marketing, and sharing market insights for product development

Our take
Acknowledging that the B2B food delivery market has fallen way behind B2C in terms of digitisation, Feedr is targeting an estimated £4.7bn contract catering market. Adopting a B2B2C model, Feedr attracts companies to sign up and subsidises the meals their staff order as an additional perk to boost employee well-being. This also forms part of the company’s talent recruitment and retention strategy.
In addition, Feedr differentiates itself by curating a set of tailored menus based on the user’s order history, aiming to elevate the quality of breakfast, lunch and dinner orders. The restaurants and caterers Feedr works with are low-impact on the planet and quality-assured by the company.
Feedr started off operating in London, and after being acquired by Berlin company EatFirst, is looking to expand the service to new geographical areas. Though it's working against a crowded B2C market, Feedr is the only B2B2C model food provider, a low-admin, hassle-free alternative for busy companies. Its partnership with EatFirst will no doubt elevate its presence as it looks to expand.
