Who you are
- Master’s degree in a quantitative field, or Bachelor’s degree and equivalent practical experience
- 2+ years of industry experience using data to create insight into complicated problems
- Proficiency with scripting languages like Python to conduct analysis and find root causes
- Proficiency with query languages like SQL
- Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Sigma, or Power BI
- Experience working with cloud-based data warehouses such as Snowflake or Databricks
- Understanding of general data science concepts
- Creative mind who can identify new and creative problems in addition to executing against known ones
- A passion for learning new technologies with a growth mindset, and for interfacing with stakeholders across the business
- A passion for urban mobility, sustainable transportation, and the future of cities

What the job involves
- We are looking for a Data Analyst to expand our enterprise analytics capabilities and deliver insights that guide strategic and operational decisions across Archer. This role combines hands-on data analysis, dashboard development, and with collaboration across technical and business teams. Your responsibilities will include:
- Design and build dashboards, conduct analysis, and expand data pipelines to inform stakeholder decisions across departments
- Partner with the engineering team to analyze flight test data to support a safe and reliable flight test program leading to type certification
- Accelerate the ability for enterprise data consumers to make decisions by building custom tools from multiple data sources including ERP
- Identify novel problems in Urban Air Mobility (UAM) that have not yet been explored, and solve and present them to leadership
- Build algorithms used in real-time service to move riders and aircraft efficiently that power the digital backbone of our core product
- Apply ad hoc data analytics and present findings to influence strategy
Our take
With traffic, noise, and emissions becoming major challenges for urban life, Archer is building electric vertical takeoff and landing (eVTOL) aircrafts, led by its flagship model, Midnight, offering a cleaner, quieter alternative to traditional short-haul travel. The idea is simple: replace long car rides with quick, sustainable fluights that lift off vertically, fly over the gridlock, and help reduce urban pollution. It's a bold shift in transportation, but one that could meaningfully change how we navigate cities in the years ahead.
Midnight is designed to make these short flights practical, safe, and efficient. Its electric powertrain significantly reduce noise and emissions compared to helicopters (one of the biggest barriers to adopting urban air mobility at scale). However, eVTOLs face hurdles before becoming an everyday reality, including regulatory approvals, infrastructure build-out, and the operational testing needed to prove long-term safety and reliability. Archer is addressing these challenges with major manufacturing investment, deep engineering partnerships, and ongoing flight testing in the US and abroad.
Even with these barriers, Archer has been moving from success to success. The company is set to be the official air taxi provider for the 2028 Olympic and Paralympic Games in Los Angeles. And its recent acquisition of Hawthorne Airport in LA will serve as both a launch site and an innovation hub for next-generation, AI-powered aviation operations. On the commercial side, Archer's partnerships with United Airlines and its growing international presence signal strong industry confidence. COmbines with newly expanded funding and successful long-range flight tests, Archer sure is a promising player in eVTOl aviation.
