- Bachelor’s degree (foreign equivalent degree acceptable) in Data Analytics or a related field plus four (4) years of experience in data analysis role
- Must have four (4) years of experience in (experience may be gained concurrently):
- Designing dashboards and enabling self-serve analytics through Business Intelligence tools
- Relational database modeling or experience in building reporting layers within Business Intelligence tooling
- Postgres and SQL databases
- Performing QA on complex SQL queries for bugs, optimization and performance
- Statistical programming with R or Python for the purposes of solving business Questions
- A/B testing and product analytics
- Remote work permitted five (5) days a week
What the job involves
- G2 is looking for a Lead Data Analyst which will provide descriptive and diagnostic analysis to inform product decision-making, evaluate performance and make tactical recommendations
- Provide descriptive and diagnostic analysis to inform product decision-making, evaluate performance and make tactical recommendations
- Support and guide project-based work using analytic tools to produce datasets for analysis
- Use BI tools to empower end users with timely, accurate and informative data and visualizations
- Design dashboards to monitor KPIs and business drivers and ensure all metrics are consistent with business strategy
- Discuss questions and hypotheses with external and internal customers based on deep data analysis, and act as the G2 Data SME, turn them into analysis and insights
- Lead team discussions and collaborates with technical and non-technical team members to solve business problems
- Provide guidance and coaching to jr. team members, helping them understand complex datasets/models/business requirements
- Identify opportunities to improve our reporting and additional data management tasks you discover in your analysis
