Role
Who you are
- Bachelor's or Master's degree from a leading university
- 4–5 years of quota-carrying sales experience in the B2B enterprise segment
- 1–2 years of experience in carbon market sales (strongly preferred)
- Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets
- Strong communicator and negotiator, able to present complex topics clearly and to influence at the executive level
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities
- Entrepreneurial mindset with a proactive, results-oriented approach, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment
- Fluency in English is essential; German is a plus
- Familiarity with AI workflows, LLMs, and automation is a plus
- Willingness to travel to clients and events
- Must hold a valid EU/EFTA work permit and be able to work within EU time zones. While we embrace remote work, we value face-to-face collaboration. If you are not based in Berlin or Zürich, you should be prepared to travel there for regular team syncs
What the job involves
- Drive new business growth through multi-channel outreach and active participation in key industry events
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, understanding their needs and ensuring their satisfaction
- Identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities within existing accounts
- Co-design and implement automated sales processes in collaboration with the technology and sales teams
- Conduct effective sales presentations, product demonstrations, and negotiations to secure new contracts
- Ensure accurate forecasting and maintain an up-to-date pipeline at all times
