Senior Mechanical Engineer, Capella Space

• The Mechanical Engineering team at Capella is responsible for designing and building all types of hardware ranging from test fixtures to full satellites
• We support the full design life cycle starting from requirement definition all the way to product delivery
• As a Mechanical Engineer, you will be assisting in the design of our next generation satellites and everything in between to get us to space
• Good communication is a must as you will be working cross functionally among different teams to come up with designs that satisfy system level requirements
• Requirement definition
• Concept layout
• Product design with CAD
• Creating drawings for fabrication
• Assisting in procurement and production
• Verification with stress analysis and/or testing
• Hands-on Assembly, Integration and Testing (AI&T) with Prototypes
• Hands-on Assembly, Integration and Testing (AI&T) with Flight hardware
