What the job involves
- The Software Platform organization powers the foundation of Robinhood’s technology ecosystem. We are responsible for delivering the core infrastructure that supports Robinhood's engineering teams
- Our mission is to enable all engineers at Robinhood to build and scale with powerful, and reliable engineering practices. This includes maintaining innovative performance engineering practices, ensuring capacity planning aligns with business growth, and encouraging a culture of operational excellence through reliability engineering principles
- You will be a vital leader in our Software Platform organization, coordinating strategy and execution in areas like Provisioning, Storage, Compute, Networking, and Observability. Your role is crucial in enabling our engineers to deliver impactful features and products to customers quickly and confidently
- Define and implement the vision and strategy for the Software Platform organization, aligning infrastructure goals with Robinhood’s broader engineering and business objectives
- Lead and mentor high-performing teams across the US and Canada, driving operational excellence
- Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and learning across the platform teams
- Partner with cross-functional leaders in Product, Engineering, and Security to align infrastructure priorities with organizational goals
- Stay up to date with the latest technology trends, evaluating and implementing cutting-edge tools and methodologies to enhance platform performance and efficiency
