Role
Who you are
- 4+ years of experience as an HRBP or related HR role, preferably in a SaaS company
- Working knowledge of multiple human resource disciplines including compensation practices, benefits, performance management, and federal and state respective employment laws
- Comfortable working with HRIS data and an ability to translate data into actionable insights
- Basic understanding of Excel or Google Sheets with an interest in advancing data skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, skilled at building strong relationships at all levels of an organization
- BS/BA degree
- Ability to travel a minimum of twice per month
What the job involves
- As Qualia embarks on the next phase of growth, we are seeking an experienced HR Business Partner (HRBP) to join our People Operations Team
- The HRBP will play a pivotal role in aligning our people strategy with business goals
- You’ll collaborate closely with managers and employees, serving as a strategic partner in implementing HR best practices, building strong relationships, and cultivating a supportive and positive workplace culture
- This role requires a hands-on approach, strategic thinking, and a passion for driving initiatives that enhance employee success, engagement, and organizational growth
- Build and maintain trusting relationships with multiple levels of management in assigned business units, serving as a strategic advisor on talent management and employee relations
- Provide ongoing performance management guidance with managers, including coaching and counseling for career development, performance improvement, and disciplinary actions
- Analyze trends and metrics in partnership with People Operations leadership to develop solutions, programs, and policies
- Provide guidance and input on business unit structure, workforce planning and succession planning
- Manage, investigate, and resolve employee relations issues including collaborating with outside counsel as needed
- Maintain in-depth knowledge of legal requirements related to day-to-day management of employees, reducing legal risks and ensuring regulatory compliance, partnering with Legal team as needed

For real estate agents, closing on a property involves a complex set of multiple transactions and endless paperwork, which can risk confusing and frustrating the buyer. The real estate industry has been slow to innovate and leverage technology to create a more streamlined experience, compared to industries such as retail.
Qualia is the first end-to-end online real estate closing platform. Its suite of products brings together homebuyers and sellers, lenders, title & escrow agents, and real estate agents onto one secure, remote platform. Since launching in 2015, over half a million real estate professionals have used Qualia for their clients.
Although fully digital real estate closings still account for only a small fraction of overall closings, the company is focused on enabling all existing participants to digitize — and eventually the entire industry. According to Qualia, it’s the only way to get enough scale to actually move the process forward.
