Who you are
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or a related field
- Proven experience in investor relations, financial analysis, or related roles
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex information in a clear and concise manner
- Relationship-building skills with the ability to interact effectively with investors, executives, and external stakeholders
- Analytical mindset with proficiency in financial modeling, data analysis, and reporting tools
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and project management skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
- Understanding of Compute and AI: A basic understanding of Compute and AI technologies is helpful for this role
- You should be able to articulate the benefits and applications of these technologies to potential clients and investors
What the job involves
- Act as the primary contact for investors, addressing inquiries, providing updates, and maintaining open lines of communication
- Develop and distribute investor communications, tax elections, and other relevant materials
- Organize investor meetings, conference calls, and presentations, ensuring timely and accurate information dissemination
- Establish, cultivate and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective investors, fostering trust and confidence in the company's performance and strategic direction
- Prepare and analyze financial and operational data to support investor reporting and decision-making
- Collaborate with internal teams, including finance, legal, and HR, to gather information and ensure accuracy and completeness of investor communication and reporting

Our take
Advances in artificial intelligence apps, combined with a global chip shortage, are strong tailwinds for chip processor Tenstorrent. The semi-conducter developer is designing specialized chips for running artificial intelligence applications, building chips for what it calls "software 2.0".
The company’s unique approach is to build for this future software, which it believes will be written at a higher level. Combining this with conditional computing, Tenstorrent supports a scalable distributed network approach that is analogous to a human brain.
While the market for specialised AI hardware is destined to be gigantic, the company has to compete with a plethora of hopeful startups (as well as major tech companies like NVIDIA and Qualcomm). That said, Tenstorrent boasts an excellent trajectory so far, with its latest moves including unveiling its high-end Wormhole AI processors, and a partnership with LG which will see the development of chips for "Affectionate Intelligence".
