Who you are
- If you are a highly motivated salesperson with an entrepreneurial mindset and a proven track record of selling cutting-edge payment solutions in a high-growth environment, we are keen to hear from you
- 3+ years Sales experience, with at least 1 years of payments experience and a proven track record in Enterprise selling
- Demonstrated the ability to negotiate complex deals for net new business
- Ability to navigate complexity and create clarity out of ambiguity
- Self motivated and highly organised
- Excellent communication skills demonstrating empathy and understanding of client needs
- Creativity and problem solving

What the job involves
- Checkout.com are actively looking for an enthusiastic and talented Sales Manager to join our Commercial Team to drive rapid growth across all verticals focussing on enterprise businesses
- You will generate net new business, orchestrate the entire sales process and act as the main point of contact for merchants and internal stakeholders
- Along the way, you'll collaborate closely with various in-house teams across Technology and Product to position our capabilities, products, services and solutions effectively with prospects
- Identify the most promising merchants and prospects and grow a healthy pipeline across various verticals
- Help new merchants evaluate Checkout.com and handle detailed questions about our product capabilities, serving as a consultant and industry expert
- Prepare thorough presentations and proposals for prospective merchants
- Partner with other Sales team members to share best practices, key business insights and industry trends
- Provide feedback on local trends including competitor insights, customer needs, sales, product and marketing information

The payments industry has exploded in the last decade as eCommerce continues to grow as the use of cash falls. Checkout.com is building the go-to platform for all things related to payments, such as accepting transactions, processing them and detecting fraud. Its secured a steady stream of funding from top investors like Tiger Global Management, and is the strategic payments partner for some of the best known fast-moving brands globally such as Patreon, Dashlane, Udacity, Wise, Sony Electronics, and Klarna.
It focuses on large merchants and try to make its product as customisable as possible, so that companies integrate Checkout.com as an infrastructure partner in their product. This increases the stickiness of the product and creates many opportunities for the company to generate revenue.
Checkout.com has high quality proprietary technology (its platform has been designed from the outset so it can easily deliver incremental services as it expands its offering) and claim to offer the most comprehensive cross-border payment solution for digital commerce.
