Who you are

We are seeking a candidate with strong analytical skills who can build models, prepare presentations, and communicate effectively with senior stakeholders across the company
Attention to detail and proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint are essential
Bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting required
Minimum of 5 years’ experience, preferably in financial analysis
Strong understanding of financial result interpretation and analysis to support strategic decision-making
Experience with finance and planning processes in a larger corporate environment
Ability to multi-task and prioritize workload in a fast-paced setting
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
Knowledge of major CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce, NetSuite, SAP) is a plus
Hybrid work policy, based in our New York City office

What the job involves

Join our team in our New York City office supporting the Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) activities for ISS STOXX on a global scale
In this role, you will play a key part in developing systems and processes to guide the organization through its next growth phase and potential public listing
Identify and drive initiatives to enhance and scale forecasting and reporting models
This position reports directly to the Director of FP&A and offers significant exposure to senior management, including the CFO and COO
Prepare monthly management reporting presentations, providing commentary on key developments
Collaborate with the accounting team to analyze results versus forecasts
Support monthly, quarterly, and annual planning cycles, delivering insights on past performance and future expectations
Assist with executive-level presentations for Audit Committee and Shareholder meetings
Develop and maintain key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics for business segments
Fulfill and manage ad-hoc requests from senior management

STOXX, previously Qontigo, was created by capital market giants Deutsche Börse Group in 2019 after its acquisition of stock market indexes STOXX and DAX, as well as portfolio construction and risk analytics company Axioma.

By combining index intelligence with Axioma’s risk analytics, the company’s purpose is to provide hedge fund, wealth, and asset managers with the tools to navigate a quickly shifting marketplace. Although STOXX keeps its customer base under wraps, it claims to work with some of the world’s largest asset management companies and financial institutions.

Considering that Deutsche Börse Group operates the Frankfurt Stock Exchange, it’s no surprise that STOXX is operating in such elite circles. The company has already expanded globally through the US, Europe, Asia, and Oceania, and looks set to keep growing, with a potential IPO looking more and more likely in the future.
