Who you are

You have intermediate knowledge of core payment systems like Swift, Target2, and SEPA
You're proficient in managing medium-sized projects from project proposal to implementation
You understand the end-to-end customer journey and design solutions with the user needs in mind
You collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineers to find simple solutions to complex problems
You understand monitoring payment systems and ensure they function reliably
You’re passionate about making payments seamless and hassle-free for users
You're fluent in English, with strong communication skills

What the job involves

Your objective is to ensure that our users worldwide enjoy a seamless, stable, trusted payment experience
You will eliminate any obstacles that could undermine their trust in our systems, enabling them to pay anywhere, anytime, with confidence
You will lead and deliver payment projects that contribute to Eva's payment experience
As bunq's Product Owner responsible for payment methods, you'll be owning:
Payment Methods - offer the local payment options Eva needs to pay anytime, anywhere, instantly
Lead and deliver various payment projects like:
IDIN integration - provide Eva with the convenience of verifying their identity online using their bunq account
BankSwitch - make it easy for Eva to switch to bunq

Our take

bunq, a Dutch-based challenger bank,l has quickly positioned itself as a standout player in Europe's banking sector. Unlike many other neobanks, such as N26 and Monzo, bunq grew its team to over 200 employees without relying on outside funding until 2021.
