Who you are
- Customer obsessed & data driven: You are relentlessly curious about what motivates business travellers and bookers. You proactively dig into the data to understand current behaviours (quant), speak to customers to understand why (qual) and build hypotheses on how best to influence better engagement and booking conversions
- Experienced in multi-channel comms: You have a strong track record of executing campaigns that drive engagement and conversions (bookings, sign-ups etc) via email marketing and other comms channels (text, WhatApp, push etc)
- You are broadly CRM platform agnostic and are self-sufficient. You are clear about your strengths and weaknesses, upfront about where you need support (i.e. design) and proactively engage internal or external resources when required
- Action orientated, experimental and outcome-driven: You move fast, continually experiment, iterate and learn and bring the team and customers along the journey with you. You build data-driven hypotheses and are able to bring everything back to our principal goal of driving conversions and delivering value to all stakeholders. You are excited about new technologies and embrace AI to help you move faster
- A great communicator: You have the ability to clearly communicate what you are working on, the results you expect and impact both internally and externally
- Positive in approach: Startups are hard and bringing a positive mindset can make all the difference to everyone else in the team. Being proactive in coming up with potential solutions, not problems is also very important to us
What the job involves
- We’re building the #1 platform for intelligent communications in travel and with a funding round recently completed, we’re looking for a strategic, data-obsessed operator to drive real, attributable impact. You’ll own from end to end and evolve the customer lifecycle — architecting journeys that turn intent into action, and repeat bookers into loyal advocates.
- We want to stay as a small, high-talent-density team focussed on building a product that users love, so we’re looking for someone who can act autonomously and roll up their sleeves and spearhead this core function in the business
- To be clear, this is not a sales CRM or B2B outbound marketing role. We’re looking for someone who can execute automated, behaviour-based messaging to individual travellers based on booking data — to drive conversion and retention at scale.

Grapevine is built by business travellers, for business travellers as an intelligent remarketing engine for business travel. Its digital personal assistant is trusted by clients in the UK, Europe and the US, including Gray Dawes Travel, Wexas Travel, and National Travel.
Grapevine works differently from travel agents. It partners with Travel Management Companies and supplies the tools they need to provide business customers with consumer-grade personalisation. Working with Corporate TMCs, Grapevine's AI personal assistant offers end-to-end support for business travellers and taps into missed revenue opportunities and "right-time, right channel" booking recommendations, all with the potential to unlock billions for the industry.
Whilst TMCs are great at selling flights, ancillaries have proved more of a challenge. Over 70% of hotel bookings are leaked to off-platform sources, over $30 billion in potential ancillary revenue, whilst next to no in-destination spending is being captured. A huge amount of revenue is being left on the table, and this is exactly what Grapevine is tapping into.
