Who you are

You are excited to work in a fast-paced environment and contribute to Plum’s mission!
You have a proven track-record of 2+ years, demonstrating strong analytical skills, ideally in a marketing team
You are impact-driven and are able to balance quality and speed
You have strong SQL skills and ideally Python / R. Bonus: dbt
You are experienced with data visualisation tools, e.g. Looker, tableau
Familiarity with marketing analytics and causal inference

What the job involves

We are looking for an exceptional Marketing Data Analyst, who is excited about Plum’s mission, to join our Marketing team.
You will help expand the value we deliver across Plum through data-driven decision making
Provide data support across the Marketing Team, with an increased focus on performance and lifecycle marketing
Lead insights projects around return-on-investment, segmentation and produce actionable analyses
Own measurement & attribution: you will collaborate with marketing team on how to track and quantify the growth different channels drive and how it is measured and controlled for incremental effects
Build and maintain data models in your space using BigQuery and dbt

The development of fintech in the UK has made the space incredibly competitive, with other companies such as Cleo and Emma trying to solve similar problems. That said, Plum has certainly found its place, with over a million users having downloaded the app. It was also voted Best Personal Finance App at the 2023 British Bank Awards, a testament to its popularity.

After a strong performance leading to more than 2 million users across 10 European markets, Plum secured funding, which will be used to strengthen its UK product offering and reach profitability in 2025. Plum has ambitious plans for the rest of Europe too, having launched ETFs for EU customers and partnered up with Eurobank. Other developments on the platform include the addition of "Watchlists" and "Price Alerts", two features that aim to further empower people by delivering smart notifications and portfolio control.
