Who you are
- 6 - 8+ years’ experience in Marketing Operations, Strategy, or GTM leadership roles within B2B SaaS or technology firms
- Proven success driving marketing performance improvement across pipeline, efficiency, or structure
- Strong understanding of marketing funnel mechanics (lead management, attribution, ROI)
- Experience building or optimizing global marketing orgs (50+ people)
- Excellent analytical, communication, and executive presentation skills
- Comfortable using tools like Salesforce, HubSpot/Marketo, Asana, and Looker/Tableau
- A strategic operator — comfortable thinking big and executing precisely
- Fluent in data, metrics, and process, but you understand the nuance of brand, creative, and GTM alignment
- Highly organized, proactive, and comfortable influencing without authority
- A connector and communicator who thrives in fast-paced, scaling environments
- Trusted partner to the CMO and leadership peers — able to synthesize complexity into clarity
What the job involves
- We’re looking for a Head of Strategy & Operations to partner with the CMO in leading a global marketing organization of 80+.This role sits at the intersection of strategy, operations, and execution — ensuring the marketing team runs efficiently, stays aligned to company priorities, and delivers measurable business impact
- You’ll be the CMO’s strategic right hand — helping translate vision into plans, enabling cross-functional collaboration, and ensuring the team operates with clarity, focus, and accountability
- You’ll also serve as a key connector across GTM leadership (Sales, RevOps, Finance, Product) to make sure Marketing is a tightly integrated growth engine
- As we scale toward our next stage of growth, Marketing must operate as a high-performing, data-driven, and creatively aligned organization
- This role ensures that vision becomes reality — connecting strategy, execution, and measurement to deliver growth with clarity and efficiency
- You’ll help shape how a global marketing organization of 80+ evolves — building the systems, rhythms, and focus that power the next chapter
- Partner with the CMO and Marketing leadership team to define strategy, OKRs, and annual operating plans
- Own the quarterly business review and marketing performance framework — ensuring the team is data-driven and outcome-focused
- Connect marketing priorities to company objectives and revenue goals
- Lead strategic projects (e.g., go-to-market evolution, segmentation, pricing alignment) as needed
- Own Marketing Operations rhythm: planning cycles, budget management, and headcount allocation
- Work with Finance and RevOps to ensure budget tracking and spend efficiency (CAC, ROI, velocity metrics)
- Identify and drive process improvements to improve marketing velocity, data quality, and handoff efficiency
- Oversee program management for cross-functional initiatives and major launches
- Partner with the Marketing Ops and BI teams to establish a single source of truth for marketing performance
- Build visibility into what’s working — pipeline, conversion, velocity, retention — and drive action on insights
- Support the CMO with board and executive-level reporting
- Act as the marketing liaison to Sales, Product, RevOps, and Finance — ensuring shared metrics, data integrity, and GTM alignment
- Facilitate decision-making and remove friction between teams
- Represent the CMO in key internal meetings where needed
- Shape the marketing org’s operating model, communications cadence, and leadership rhythm
- Support leadership hiring, onboarding, and performance planning
- Help build a culture of accountability, curiosity, and collaboration across the team
- Example Metrics for Success:
- Marketing OKRs delivered on time and within budget
- CAC, pipeline velocity, and ROI improvement quarter over quarter
- Increased cross-functional alignment and decision speed
- Improved team engagement and clarity of focus
