Role
Who you are
- 5+ years of product management experience, ideally in custody, institutional fintech, capital markets, or crypto infrastructure
- Deep understanding of custody models, wallet technologies (hot/cold/multi-sig/MPC), and transaction security
- Familiarity with institutional workflows around asset management, settlement, compliance, and risk management
- Proven track record of launching secure, scalable fintech or crypto infrastructure products
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills—able to interpret complex financial and blockchain data to drive decisions
- Passion for digital assets and blockchain technology, with curiosity about emerging protocols and decentralized finance
- Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills, comfortable working with executives, clients, engineers, and regulators
- Knowledge of blockchain protocols, smart contracts, and APIs is a strong plus

What the job involves
- We need a strategic and analytically-driven leader who can drive innovation in custody, wallet infrastructure, and digital asset security while scaling BitGo’s platform for global institutional adoption
- You will collaborate with institutional investors, fintech partners, blockchain developers, and cross-functional teams to define the future of secure digital asset custody and transaction processing at BitGo
- Own the product vision, roadmap, and execution for BitGo’s institutional custody and wallet infrastructure offerings
- Partner with engineering, security, compliance, and business development teams to deliver innovative products that meet the highest standards of trust and reliability
- Engage with institutional clients, including banks, asset managers, and crypto-native firms, to deeply understand their workflows and security needs
- Define product requirements that scale custody, settlement, and wallet services while maintaining regulatory compliance
- Measure product success through usage analytics, client adoption, and operational KPIs; continuously optimize for performance and usability
- Stay ahead of industry trends in digital assets, blockchain protocols, and regulatory developments to inform strategy and product innovation
- Launch new features and services with precision, ensuring seamless adoption, client satisfaction, and measurable business impact
Our take
The digital asset industry is maturing, with asset companies looking to shore up their positions by adding secure custody capabilities. This is good news for BitGo, an independent, regulated cryptocurrency custodian company providing security, custody, and liquidity solutions.
BitGo’s flagship multi-signature wallet solution helps its clients mitigate risk and optimise capital efficiency. The company has subsequently expanded to also cover a number of areas that are critical for any holder of major crypto assets, like portfolio and tax management. In this, BitGo was smart to focus exclusively on institutional clients: there’s a huge appetite among larger players to expedite the mainstreaming of crypto, and they’ll need precisely BitGo’s tools to get there.
BitGo was in talks to be acquired by PayPal, and most recently, by Galaxy Digital, which speaks to a strong institutional confidence in the crypto wave. Despite a rocky 2024 for the digital assets (which now sees BitGo suing Galaxy Digital for pulling out of the acquisition deal), BitGo has manoeuvred itself into a central position to capitalise on what, now, seems a near-inevitable period of mass adoption.
Exemplifying this, the BitGo Ventures wing of the company was launched in 2024 to partner with and invest in cutting-edge blockchain and fintech startups, whilst the company saw revenue rocket to $4.19 billion in H1 2025. It completed an IPO bid in Q1 26, which is fitting considering its growth
