Role
Who you are
- Strong background in technical graphic design, specializing in diagrams and infographics
- Demonstrate abilities in technical storytelling and concept visualization, with an eye for detail
- Technically orientated design mind able to distill and visualize complex concepts in simple ways
- Experience in design agency, design consultancy, or design department
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, Figma for layout and graphic design elements, and PowerPoint
- Familiarity with Premier Pro, Figma for Design Systems and UI design, and 3D design software are considered advantageous for this role
- Preferred degree in design (graphic, industrial, visual communication). Degrees in user experience, human-centered design, multimedia, or architecture will also be considered
- Familiarity with software development processes, with optional knowledge of software concepts and associated technologies
- Optional experience or skills in video editing, animation, 3D animation, and UI design are considered advantageous for this role
What the job involves
- Own and deliver visual design projects: concepting, overseeing, and executing diagrams, infographics and illustrations that show product and technical concepts
- Work with our team to pioneer ways of demonstrating product concepts effectively and spearheading the execution of the outputs
- Engage with team members within the R&D organization to discover information assisting in creating conceptual sketches, wireframes and rough illustrations helping formulate concepts into visual outputs
- Create rich, detailed, high-quality, and visually exciting outputs as final deliverables for use across the organizational
- Participate in discussions with teams, synthesizing given information and/or proactively investigating information to inform the delivery of outputs
- Build and maintain design systems to help scale the creation of product information to non-visual teams
- Manage multiple projects, ensuring high-quality content and on-time delivery
- Depending on skillsets, own and execute product videos, animations and/or create simplified product screens using existing Product Design Systems
