Who you are

Product: 6+ years of product management experience with a track record of driving impact on your product(s) and ideally experience as owner of a rapidly growing consumer or B2B2C product
Analytical horsepower: You dig deep into the data, think from first principles, and deliver the right results

What the job involves

Flex has grown our core flexible rent consumer product/business by distributing it through our rapidly growing network of property management company partners
This core business is growing extremely fast, and we’re ready to take our next swing
Specifically, as we enter the next chapter of our growth, we are hiring a Lead PM to own a true 0 to 1 effort to build our next business line on the property side of our business
Career growth in this role is expected with the growth/success of the product
You will serve as the primary owner of a new Flex product offering from idea through landing and beyon
Develop and own Flex’s product strategy around our next new product line. You will act as the singled-threaded owner, responsible for the end-to-end outcomes of this product
Move fast to define, de-risk, launch, and iterate on a new product that we expect to be material to Flex’s long term growth and business outcomes
Partner with Flex leadership team to land this new product as fast as possible

Our take

Many people struggle to pay their rent every month, with a variety of bills hitting their bank accounts simultaneously. Whilst many of these people earn enough money to cover their bills, the inflexible nature of monthly bills can make the all-in-one payment a harder obstacle.

Flex provides a mobile application for the flexible payment of rent, allowing users to pay their landlords through flexible payment plans, reschedule payments when necessary, and protect their funds through Overdraft Protection. The company achieves this by partnering with estate agents and paying their resident's bills upfront, taking on the challenges that landlords would normally have due to late payments.

Flex has experienced extremely rapid growth since its founding which has caused some issues, as it struggled to keep up with the surge in new customers. Having made improvements to its product and scaled its customer service team, it is set to continue providing a service that has come to be highly valued by both tenants and landlords.
