Who you are

Front-end focused Ruby on Rails developer with experience designing and developing software and web applications in Rails
2+ years experience with UX and UI design
Expertise in Figma, Ruby, HTML5, SCSS, Javascript, Restful APIs
A proven ability to take projects from requirements and rough ideas and experiments through to robust solutions - distilling complex product requirements into deliverable features
Good communication skills and experience communicating with technical and non-technical colleagues across divisions

What the job involves

Working closely with the Tech Lead to set the vision and shape the future of the platform to meet our goals and scale the business
Continuous improvement of the platform
Management of our design system in Figma
Maintenance of our UI components using Github's ViewComponent library
Development of new features from concept to deployment
Create and execute a front end roadmap
Staying on top of relevant tech trends, tools and resources

Pet wellness startup Tuggs creates sustainable, freshly prepared dog food. As the first UK company to create fresh, insect-based dog food, it's hoping to revolutionise the sustainable pet food market.

Primarily an online subscription-based platform, Tuggs creates personalised monthly health plans for pets. It develops these from its proprietary algorithm, enabling owners to provide their dogs with tailor-made meals to keep them healthy and help them hit and maintain an ideal weight.
