Who you are

The ideal candidate has delivered B2B SaaS products where innovative and simple design was vital to their success. We are especially interested in projects involving aspects of creative support, data visualization, or modern collaboration
You are a seasoned design leader with a track record of managing and scaling design teams, ideally in a fast-paced tech environment
You have a positive track record of partnering with key stakeholders and leaders in designing and building business-critical products
You have successfully helped launch products from 0 to 1
You can discover what users truly need even when they don't understand it themselves
You take ownership and always finds a way to move important design initiatives forward
You ensure the highest quality of design work by setting clear standards, encouraging innovation, and maintaining a user-centered approach

What the job involves

As Onebrief’s Product Design leader you will be influential in shaping and developing our end-to-end military planning tool which is currently live worldwide
You will be leading our lean, experienced team of Product Designers in understanding our customers pain points and translating that into simple and effective design solutions
Your work will span across UX, UI, and user research and will cover all facets of the product, from defining ground-up new features to shaping our design system. You will shape the future of Onebrief’s offerings in collaboration with product and engineering partners, and leaders across the organization
Aside from the product, you will also play a pivotal role in shaping our design culture, refining our design processes, and ensuring that our products exceed user expectations
You’ll report directly to Rafa, our Head of Product and co-founder

Our take

Onebrief is transforming military planning with its software platform, which simplifies and speeds up operational tasks for US military headquarters worldwide. The platform enhances decision-making and streamlines complex planning, supporting various missions from defense to humanitarian aid.

The company has continuously updated its offering, for example by launching an API for better integration with other military tools, and developing offline access for remote use. It has also added AI features as part of continued innovation to meet the evolving needs of military users.

Onebrief has secured substantial funding which has allowed it to grow significantly. The latest round, secured in early 2026, will support rapid scaling and comes alongside the company's acquisition of Battle Road Digital, a leading defense innovation company applying gaming technology to defense and national security challenges.
